Job Description :
#Review individual/Group applications for insurance to evaluate degree of risk involved and determine acceptance of applications. Underwriting applications within the Financial Limits allotted to the post and process applications of higher sum assured.. Underwrite high value proposals.
#Following up with internal departments for closure on pending issues like RCU referrals ,IT related issues
#Verify the findings generated by the automated underwriting system and additional conditions depending on underwriting guidelines and over all audit of auto underwriting cases with necessary feedback to relevant teams. Maintenance for data and generation of reports
#Submission of reports /MIS to reinsurance Referral of cases to reinsurance and negotiation for better reinsurance decisions
Resolution of revival /Policy servicing requests from underwriting point of view
Action on non disclosure cases and co ordination with departments on closing Non disclosure cases
Suggestion on process changes and maintenance of manuals
